Zach is a life long Kendall County resident. First elected in 2022 at 24 years old, he immediately got to work, securing $15M in public funding for a community-owned broadband network designed to upgrade the county's infrastructure position and give thousands of residents in the county who are currently under/unserved access to reliable, affordable internet. Now Zach is running to innovate an outdated County Clerk's office, using his creative vision and political savvy, he plans to make the office more accessible, transparent, effective, and modern as to provide the best service to every county resident.

Modernizing the Clerk's Office

Zach plans to update the clerk's office by adopting best in class technologies, approaches, and policies to make voting and accessing public records transparent, easy, responsive, and modern. Core tenants of his policy platform include:

  • Polling locations accepting any eligible voter on election day

  • Automatic notifications upon the reception of vote by mail ballots

  • More early voting locations & ballot drop boxes

  • Streamlined & cheaper access to public records

  • Updated and intuitive website
